Since beginning her journey with clay in 1989, Kolkata-born sculptor Shweta Mansingka has developed a deeply philosophical ceramic practice exploring interconnectedness, transformation, and the silent strength of her chosen medium. Her work has been exhibited at the NGMA Delhi, and internationally, earning accolades such as the Sanmarg Aparajita Women Achiever Award. A jury member for Artaxis and featured in publications like Naked Raku and Related Bare Clay Techniques, Mansingka’s sculptures resonate with symbolic depth, offering meditations on life cycles and creation through form, texture, and elemental beauty.
