Neeraja Divate

Neeraja Divate (b. 1973) is a visual artist whose practice explores the aesthetics and movement of water. Trained under the guidance of Rameshwar Broota, she creates meticulous, hand- drawn works on paper using a restrained, monochromatic palette, emphasizing the subtlety and rhythm of each stroke.

Divate completed her education in Commerce from Pune University. Her works have been featured in numerous group exhibitions across India. She has been recognized with several prestigious awards, including a Senior Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture, Government of India(2017–2019), and the All-India Award from the All-India Fine Arts and Crafts Society, New Delhi (2016). Her works have also been showcased at ID Mumbai 2024, ID Delhi 2024 - 25, and An Abstract Pause (Gallery Art Positive, 2025).
